Support AVA Cat Rescue
100% Volunteer Run & Donation Based Registered Charity

Action Volunteers for Animals (AVA) is an all-volunteer run charitable animal rescue dedicated to improving the lives of stray and feral animals. We have been a registered charity since 1981 and operate thanks to generous donations by individuals and pet charities.

AVA relies predominately on personal donations to pay for the costs of animal care, including veterinary expenses and food, as well as to support the Trap-Neuter-Return-Monitor (TNRM) program. 95% of the money we get through adoptions and donations goes towards care for the animal!

Donation and Fundraising Ideas: A cat food drive is a great alternative or addition to a traditional birthday party; create a birthday fundraiser on Facebook or direct donations to AVA lieu of gifts; run a bake, yard or online sale with proceeds going to the rescue; or hold a Kitten Shower to raise money during kitten season. Your donation, no matter how big or small, really makes a difference!

Ways to Donate to AVA
